November 25, 2020 in the Donetsk State University of Management in the framework of the project EduSpace online conference discussed new educational programs are being introduced in the Donetsk State University – “Management of Territorial Community“ (head of the project team – Associate Professor of Sociology of Management, PhD in Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor Valentyna Nykolaieva) and “Conflict Resolution and Mediation” (head of the project team – Head of the Department of Sociology of Management, PhD in Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Natalia Nykyforenko) for students with a master’s degree.

Rector of DSUM Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Full Professor Svitlana Marova; Head of the Department of Tourism, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Full Professor Andriy Stoyka; Head of the Department of Public Administration, Doctor of Science in Economics, Associate Professor Anna Chechel; Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology of Management, PhD in Historical Sciences Mykola Chaplyk took part in the discussion.

During the presentation of educational programs the heads of project teams focused on the purpose of each program and its relevance to the mission of the University – the promotion of European values and standards in education, public administration and Local Governance of the southern part of Donbass. The participants also discussed the uniqueness of the programs, the prospects of involving foreign specialists in teaching, the prospects of academic mobility of students, obtaining a double diploma.

In the context of educational standards and selected program focuses, the participants of the meeting discussed in detail the program results of education, general and professional competencies to be obtained by applicants for each of the educational programs. The experts discussed the ability of the proposed educational components to ensure the achievement of program learning outcomes.

The next step, after approval of the projects of educational programs, will be their submission for public discussion with internal and external stakeholders.
