Students of the Donetsk State University of Management and Donetsk Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine continue their training in the Academy of Student Governance within the framework of the EduSpace project.

On January 29, students had the opportunity to take part in a training session on creating events. Victoria Popova, Head of the Center of Corporate Culture and Public Relations of DSUM, was an experienced speaker who helped them plunge into the atmosphere of creativity. Victoria has a lot of different events, in which she was both a participant and organizer – from the university to all-Ukrainian.

During the training, Victoria Popova told the leaders of the Student Governance about the classification, the main components of the events, as well as how to generate ideas and properly plan all the organizational moments.

“We want our students not only to learn, but also to develop their talents and a variety of soft skills. We want all of them to spend their university years with dignity. That’s why higher education institutions usually organize various events, in the organization of which students play one of the most important roles”. – said Victoria Popova

Students were able to show their creativity, generate ideas and concepts for events that they would like to implement in their educational institutions. During the training, they got their first steps in planning student events, sports, and intellectual competitions, and the students of DLI offered a real courtroom show of investigation.

Hopefully, soon we will be able to put all the plans into action together to confirm that the best years are the student years!
